rigs work fine seperately but when in transcieve mode the transmitter is off
about 3khz. how do i correct this problem?? |

This particular setup does not send the hf injection from one to the other,
therefore, each is operating off its own xtal oscillator at all times. There is a control on one or the other (I can't remember which) to zero so they will actually transceive. This particular set of radios does not send the hf injection from one to the
other for transceiving purposes, therefore each unit continues to operate off its own internal xtal oscillator at all times. One unit or the other has a control on it to allow zeroing one against the other for transceiving purposes--I don't remember which as it has been too long since I had the equipment. Note that it will be necessary to perform the zeroing each time you change bands.
