I just spent three days with a milliohm-meter trying to find a short
in a SMT board. Then I remembered I had a logic pulser and current probe. Stuffed in a pulse and traced the current flow clear across the board right to a shorted component concealed UNDER another part. I would NEVER found it with an ohm-meter cause there was nothing in the vicinity of the bad part to probe. Then I remembered that I had three sets of probes. For Sale, one pair logic pulser and current tracer probes. Go Here for more info, links to HP site, pictures, pricing etc. http://nm7u.tripod.com/homepage/te.html Maybe trade for something on the want list. They're priced for experimenters...no resellers please... Thanks, mike -- Return address is VALID. Bunch of stuff For Sale and Wanted at the link below. Toshiba & Compaq LiIon Batteries, Test Equipment Yaesu FTV901R Transverter, 30pS pulser Tektronix Concept Books, spot welding head... http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Monitor/4710/ |
