This is nothing new. I get at least one a month. I blow them off without a
second glance. E-Bay rarely e-mails anyone UNLESS it is a special offer or
to tell you of something you're selling or bidding on. IF you're not sure,
go directly to the E-Bay site - NOT by clicking on to any links in any
suspicious e-mails you may get. C.

account.

You must register and ID Verify certificate in order to remain in

the

Dear eBay Community Member,
You (or someone else) has attempted to log in with your eBay ID

and 5
diffrent wrong passwords.

According to our site policy you will have to confirm that you are

the
real owner of the eBay account by completing the following form or else

your
account will be suspended within 24 hours for investigations.

It's not just ebay accounts. They are trying to get into any account
that they can. I get at least 5 of these style messages a week from
various banks, supposedly. They are always telling me that something
terrible has happened to my account and thear site and enter my
account and pin number so they can verify me properly. Usually
I don't even have an account there.

Always take a close look at the link they provide. It may look official
in the message, but really doesn't connect you there.

Banks will never ask you to do this, nor will Ebay, paypal, or any of
the money handlers. You just got to keep on top of things.
