This is a neat little unit that will decode DTMF tones received from
scanners or any other type of receiver. It is simple to use. Just run a patch cord from your receiver speaker out jack to the audio in jack at the back of the decoder. The unit will then decode all DTMF tones from any frequency your receiver is tuned to. It shows the numbers on an LED display on the front. It will display well over 150 charactors and buttons on the front allow you to scroll through the numbers. There is also an audio out jack on the back of the decoder so you don't lose your ability to run an outboard speaker. The unit is powered by 12 V DC and includes the power cable for attachment to a battery or power supply. There is also an ON/OFF power switch on the back. Pictures available. $60 shipped. |
