I just powered on the receiver after a long sleep and it works fine on my 20
meter dipole antenna. Cosmetically it needs work, and it does not come with
a case. Made by Stewart Warner, SN 549.
I live with one of these for years as a R29271, its a great receiver. I
checked out many bands and listened to signals, the meters work as well. I
checked the calibrate function and it works as well, and I played with the
other features too. There is one female plug that someone put in, in the
lower left hand corner and I do not know what it is for, so I leave it
alone. I live in Central Ma and this would be local P/U only, but I am
willing to travel a couple of hours though. I am asking $350 for the
working receiver. My last sale of a SP-600 was to a fellow in RI who came
up and checked out the receiver, and I have not heard from him since, this
one is in the same condition.

That female plug in the lower left hand corner might be the Diode Load. Some
these receivers had this option installed. I think it to make in-rack tune-ups
easier.
