Default FS Yaesu VX-5R Tiple Band HT AS NEW

I have for sale a like new Yaesu VX-5R triple band HT plus lots of
accessories including:

ADMS-1E Windows Programming System including disk and all cables and
instructions in original box, never used.
CSC-73 Soft Case
E-DC-5B DC Adapter with Noise Filter for mobile operation
MH-34 Speaker Mic
MFJ Headset/Mic for the VX5R
There is $140 worth of accessories included.

This equipment is all like new. It was used only a few times. The original
battery accepts a full charge.
I have the original box for the HT and manual, etc.
Price is $195 plud shipping from 79602,

I am new to ham. Could I use this as a base station? What bands does
this cover? Will it work with repeaters?
