Had 3 replies none seem to reply again---

For years, I had been looking for one of these units. That was a cool
looking radio. They used to go for around 275 dollars very rarely, and then they just stopped showing up at hamfests. Pete "AL G." wrote in message ... I have one that I will part with. I got it from a friend. It is missing the
power cord and mic. I temp soldered a power cord to the rear connector and tried it on FM using the call button and was able to access a repeater that is 15 miles away with low power using a quarter wave mag mount on top of my computer. Not sure of SSB transmit but it does receive sideband OK and will go into transmit mode. I do not have a mic for it but it uses the HM-7 or HM-10 pre-amp mics. You could probably use a cheap preamp CB hand mic, as long as it's amplified. As far as I can tell, it is working correctly but it's not much to look at. the top and bottom covers need repainted and the VFO knob is missing it's rubber grip. $125 plus shipping and it's yours.....
