Just thought I would drop you a note about the GP68.
They are a prohibited item on Ebay. Apparently Motorola doesn't want
them sold in the US and has somehow twisted Ebay's arm into considering
them "proprietery".

In any case, I have an acquaintance who tried to sell one on Ebay and
they booted him off. Completely. No appeal. They just closed his
account.

I thought I would mention it to you before the same thing happened.

I am not trying to cause you trouble and I am not going to go to Ebay
and turn you in. I just thought I might try and save someone a little
grief.

I think it's more a VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) issue. Motorola can
say who can and can't sell their items on eBay.


Perhaps....I don't know the full story, only they are prohibited on Ebay
and an acquaintance of mine lost his Ebay account even though he was not
aware it was a prohibited item.

I was just trying to help this fellow avoid some hearburn.
