Interested in hearing opinions on Ten-Tec's RX-350D HF receiver. It's very
expensive, and it doesn't appear to be in wide use.

I had one and it is a piece of JUNK, sold it after one month. has serious
issues that TT has not address in a couple of years now and surely will
never address !!!

I tested one out a couple of months ago. HF performance wasn't bad, but
sensitivity below 2MHz rolled off to about a 1uV minimum discernable signal.
In addition to that, IMD performance wasn't good on either the MW or the LW
bands.
If you are looking for a SW receiver, it isn't bad, but for MW, it doesn't
do the trick unless you use some sort of tunable preselection.
Overall, it was a fun to play receiver. If you can find a used one for
around 700 dollars, it would be pretty good.
