Default weather station

Please tell me more about weather stations

I am looking to purchase a weather station. Which ones would be comparable
with your system, and work through the weather bug? an internet based system

Thank you

Rich

Hope you are using Spybot and Ad-aware software. The cute weather bug
is loaded
with spyware!

Wrong guy.... you're thinking of Jack O'Neil [one L]
Close enough for quality points though!
But,
For those that missed it, Teal'c is not a happy camper this week.... trouble
in new-found-freedom paradise....

There was a discussion on alt.talk.weather about this.

Mark: I've been using Rainwise since 1999. Very reliable and
covers all the data points. Rainwise customer service can't be
beat. You can see mine in action at:

Check out the Peet systems. They have models that are reliable and fit
different budgets. See what they are and what you can with one he

Davis is good too.

What is your budget?
Do you have access to the internet at the location where you want to
install it?
Do you care about lightning strikes?

Vantage Pro 2 is excellent, but pricey. However, forecasts available
over the internet are better. VP2 works through just about everything
- I use Weather Display, and link to CWOP and Weather Underground.
