Default Help: Need SyntorX9000 Programed and tuned

Help: Need SyntorX9000 Programed and tuned
I have a Syntor X9000 VHF 150-170 Mhz coming in
and I need it programed to ham band and front end tuned also vco
ajusted to the ham band.
Anyone in NJ that can do this? I will pay to have it done.
I'm in Essex County New Jersey and can bring it to you.
Thanks...Rich

In the Past, I have programmed a few X9000 radios to the ham
bands using the Ham version of Motorola's RSS. I certainly never found
need to readjust the VCO or retune the front end. The radios still met
specs in the 2M ham band. I'd suggest you can save your money and only
have the programming done.

Hi
Its 150-170 MHz
And I'm told they will only go down 2 MHz
below 150 MHz anything lower it needs to be worked on.
I need it on RX: 145.410 TX 144.810 MHz

You're probably correct on that. Its been awhile and I don't remember
the extent of 2M band coverage now. I was only operating well above 146.0
MHz and had no problems with a couple radios in that range.

I did some searching in Google and came up with this information, which
supports what some others here have said. I guess I was just lucky on the
radios I used in the ham band many years ago.
