Have an Icom 551 thats bit the dust! is it worth repairing? Is
there other icom shops besides the Icom in WA? any comments please.

Some board is out, or is the older rigs, 20 plus yrs not worth
fixing?

You may want to check out Scott Malcom's repair service...highly
recommended. He fixed my old IC-211 a couple of times - quick turn

If you can find a good repair person, and parts are available for your
particular problem, it's worth fixing. Main problem is some of the
Icom parts are proprietary, and no longer available.
