I have my ten tec Paragon for sale. It has a 500hz filter installed.
This transceiver is all band and has a general coverage receiver. The only known flaw ( not really a flaw but a characteristic) is that the main tuning knob has a little movement in it. I think this is a commonly noted item on the newsgroups and has to do with the bearing in the encoder used. It doesnt affect tuning or operation at all. It probably could be tightened or a felt washer used behind it. Also included is the ten tec electret microphone and original manual and power connector/cord. Price is $500 plus ups (probably about $20. If the buyer needs a power supply, I have the matching ten tec supply with speaker. The cost is $75 plus ups. ( It would have to be shipped separately from the tranceiver due to its weight) You can use any 13.8VDC supply since I am including a power connector/cable with the tranceiver. This is a nice backup radio or relatively inexpensive way to get into the hobby. You get a general coverage receive with AM receive for local broadcast or short wave broadcast stations. I used the transceiver this week and got good reports, both stateside and DX. Jim n2go |
