Parting out 3-1000Z 80-10M homebrew amplifier:
2 good tubes, one Westinghouse, one GE; no discoloration, 2kW+ out with 3600V L-4B plate xfmr, homebrew rect/cap/equalizer-bleeder combo, 2600V or 1900V, 800mA Peter Dahl 7.5VAC 30A fil xfmr Peter Dahl filament choke B&W 85*2* tank, 80-10M as-is. I have a homebrew extra contact so that 160M is possible. UCS300 vac var & turns-counter 2200 pF loading cap & reduction drive, unmounted 160-10M bandswitched inp ckt: separate coils and fixed caps for each band Simpson 1-amp plate & 500-mA grid meters Originally built in 1970's, sorta patterned after BTI 3-1000Z amplifier. Both chassis have hardware-store perforated-aluminum covers. These components are assembled into 2 chassis. The ps chassis has the transformer, step-start, rect-caps, HV cable, and control cable. The rest of the components are on the amplifier chassis, except for the unmounted loading capacitor and reduction drive. I'm getting old, tired, and indolent, and am going to buy a commercial amplifier, probably an Ameritron of some sort to get QSK, to complete my conversion into appliance operator ;o) Sri, I'm a dinosaur, and don't have a digital camera. Pls make offers on parts or all. If you want it all, remember shipping is at least $100 gnd-insured in at least 3 packages. 73, Dave, N3HE Cincinnati 513-674-7202 eves Eastern time |
