I've got a partially working CE-7120 Field Service Monitor and am
desperately seeking a service manual. The unit "kinda" works from 12Vdc but is totally inop with AC input. If AC cable is hooked up and DC cables are hooked up simultaneously, and then you switch to AC input, the DC cables can be unhooked and it again seems to kinda work until you turn it off. No CRT display for either spectrum analysis or oscilloscope functions. Receives off the air albeit poorly. Does this unit use a "scan derived" power supply (ie does high voltage from the CRT section have to be present for the power supply to work normally)? If you have a service manual or have experienced a similar problem with your CE-7120, please advise. |
