Cleaning out the shack:
Famous Icom R71 Shortwave receiver.
Qudruple coversion front end.
100khz to 30MHZ contiuous.
AM,CW, USB, LSB, RTTY, FM (with optional board - not included)
Ram card ok, 32 Memories (stores mode too).
General condition is good. Face plate and cabinet good with only very
minor scratchs on the top of the cabinet.
Missing VFO/M button cap. (Functions fine, just missing the tiny
plastic rectangular cap).
NB level knob missing.
Radio works very well. Audio in headphones or decent external speaker
is excellent. The factory top-firing speaker is not real great. This
was a known minor complaint on this rig and Kiwa has a kit available
to improve the audio if you feel it is needed.
This has passband tuning (some models didn’t)
