Default FS: Old Radio Books

I currently have the following older radio-related books for sale.
Postage is $2 for the first book and $1 for each additional item (Media
Mail postage within the US, at cost elsewhere). The titles a

"White's Radio Log, Vol. I, Number I" Worldwide Publications, c1982.
The 136 page softbound book is in good+ condition, clean with no page
tears or pen marks. Not dated, but looks to be from the early 1980's. A
directory of North American AM, FM, and TV stations including
world-wide shortwave stations. Available for $2.

"Frequency Modulation" by Hund, August; McGraw-Hill, 1942. First
edition, fourteenth impression. The 385 page hardbound book is in very
good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong
binding. A nice vintage radio text. Published as part of the Radio
Communication Series. Available for $4.

"Pulse Techniques" by Moskowitz, Sidney; and Joseph Racker.
Prentice-Hall. Second printing. The 300 page hardbound book is in very
good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a
previous owners name inside the front cover. Binding is tight and
secure. Available for $4.

"Practical Radio Communication; Principles, Systems, Equipment,
Operations" by Nilson, Arthur R. and J.L. Hornung. McGraw-Hill, 1943.
Second edition. The 927 page hardbound book is in very good condition,
clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a preperty stamp
inside the front and rear covers. A nice early radio text. Available
for $5.

"Reference Data for Radio Engineers, 2nd edition" Federal Telephone and
Radio Corporation, 1946. Second edition. The 322+ page hardbound book
is in about very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks
except for a previous owners name stamp inside the covers. Green cloth
covers. A nice early radio reference text. Available for $5.

"Communication Engineering" by Everitt, William Littell. McGraw-Hill,
1937. The 727 page hardbound book is in about very good condition.
Clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name
and address inside the front cover, and a few passages underlined in
pencil. A nice early text on the science of the radio. Available for
$6.

"Understanding Radio; A Guide to Practical Operation and Theory"
Watson, Herbert M; Welch, Herbert E.; and Eby, George S. McGraw-Hill,
1951. Second edition. The 716 page hardbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a
vocational school bookstamp inside the front cover. Strong binding. A
nice vintage text on radio operations and theory. Available for $6.

"Instructions for Operation of 6 Tube Superheterodyne Receiver Model
5002" c1940. A 4 page instruction for operations for the
Superheterodyne Receiver Model 5002. Not dated, but looks to be from
the 1940's or so. The rear page of the instruction sheet is a schematic
diagram for the receiver. Available for $5.

"Reference Data for Radio Engineers, 1st edition" Federal Telephone and
Radio Corporation . 1943. First edition, second printing. The 200 page
hardbound book is in good+ condition, clean with no page tears or pen
marks except for a previous owners name inside the front cover. The
pages are a bit wavey along the bottom edge, possibly from minor
moisture exposure. Otherwise very nice. Green cloth covers over
flexible boards. A nice early radio reference text. Available for $7.

"1933 Report of the Standards Committee of The Institute of Radio
Engineers" Institute of Radio Engineers. 1933. The 225 page softbound
book is in good+ condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks
except for a previous owners name on the front cover. Some wear to the
spine paper, but not too bad. Page tips in rear lower corner bent
outwards somewhat. A neat look at standards development for the radio
in the early 1930's. Available for $5.

"Vacuum-Tube Circuits and Transistors" Arguimbau, Lawrence Baker. John
Wiley & Sons, 1956. The 646 page hardbound book is in about very good
condition, with no page tears or pen marks. Covers are soiled. A very
good reading copy of this early vacuum tube reference text. Available
for $7.

"Radio Propagation Handbook" by Saveskie, Peter N. T A B Books, 1980.
Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 1st Edition. Red
boards. The 499 page hardbound book is in very good condition. There
are address labels from the previous owner inside the front and rear
covers, and an embossed property stamp on the title page, otherwise
very nice. Available for $10.
