I'm selling my Alpha 374A, which has been professionally modified to run
three 8874 tubes instead of the usual two. It covers 160M - 10M.

This model has a broadbanded no-tune position on the bands from 15M -
40M. In this setting, it puts out less power, but you can be on the air
in a flash. This is the primary benefit of the third tube. In the
no-tune position, you still are very close to legal limit!

You can also use the "tuned" position for maximum power.

The other part of the mod added 12 meter coverage and replaced the front
panel. The original front panel of these Alphas had a paint that became
soft and gummy over time - the replacement panel solves that completely.

This is an OUTSTANDING linear and will be a great deal for somebody!
